Unconditional Self-Acceptance

One of my favorite phrases from my PEP for Peaceful Well-Being process is this:

Feeling safe in my unconditional self-acceptance

I thought I’d just write about what this idea means to me and my thoughts about why it helps so much when we’re feeling anxiety or other negative emotions. Read the rest of this entry »

We all feel worry and anxiety at different times in our lives and it seems like it’s just a normal part of being human.  But what is anxiety really?  Why do we feel it?  Is it really an unavoidable part of life?  By taking the time to ask ourselves these questions and bring the answers into the light of our awareness, we have the opportunity to look more deeply into ourselves and the roots of our anxiety.  When we do, we are guided to a new possibility of finding a way to be free of it and to have a deeper experience of our true spiritual essence and the natural state of unconditional well-being and peace within us. You have a true life purpose, something you can do better than anyone else on the planet.

When you live your life aligned with your purpose, you experience wonderful feelings of connection, joy, and the deep fulfilment of truly being of service to others. The problem is that awareness of our purpose is very often hidden away under layers of negative experiences and limiting beliefs about ourselves that keep us from hearing and following the inspiration of our hearts.

Here’s a wonderful free resource to help you get there…

In this video, I tell you the story of how I developed the idea for PEP and how it came to me all at once as a wonderful divine inspiration in answer to a prayer. Not only is it a fun story to listen to, it is also very reassuring as an example of how the answers we need are really already within us… we just need to open ourselves to receive them. In this video, I introduce the new positive version of EFT that I have developed which I call Positive Energy Psychology or PEP for short. I talk about the three key features of PEP that make it unique when you’re starting from the foundation of traditional EFT.  These are:  Read the rest of this entry »

In this post, I want to share a wonderful, simple technique with you that will help you relieve anxiety quickly and gently and help you return to the sweet, peaceful joy that rests just below the surface of your experience of feeling worried or anxious.

Going from Anxiety to Peace and Quiet Joy in Five Minutes

A couple of days ago, I woke up early with thoughts going round and round in my head, worries about things going on in my life right now.   This doesn’t happen very often anymore thankfully, but once I realized this was happening, I decided to get up and do some tapping on these worries.  I did a couple rounds of basic EFT to let go of the anxiety which did help… it brought down the intensity, but I could still feel the anxiety hovering at the back of my mind and I wasn’t feeling peaceful yet.

Then I remembered a client telling me about how she had used my simple peaceful well-being PEP technique using just the hand points I’d taught her and she was able to relieve her anxiety quickly and gently.  I realized that this was the perfect opportunity to use this technique myself.  Read the rest of this entry »

In this video, I will teach you how to do my new technique which I call Positive Energy Psychology, aka PEP.  I am so excited to share this with you.  PEP is such a wonderful, positive uplifting way to align your consciousness with what you want to experience in your life.  It also helps you to release any old conditioned patterns of thinking and feeling that may be in conflict with these wonderful expanded ideas without having to focus on those negative patterns directly.  It truly is a positive form of EFT and takes the feeling you get from doing EFT to a whole new level.    Read the rest of this entry »

This simple phrase can bring you there.

About a week ago, Morgan and Liliah and I went to Crystal Magic, a wonderful bookstore here in Flagstaff, and as I was browsing, I found a book called Wired for Joy.  I believe it was about how we can rewire our brains and create new neural patterns that make it much easier to evoke and experience the feeling of joy in every moment.  I love that idea.  As I was looking through the book, one phrase in particular stood out and really resonated for me.  Read the rest of this entry »

Letting Go of Painful Thoughts and Feelings and Loving Yourself as You Are

In my last blog post (Absolute and Unconditional Self-Love and Self-Acceptance), I told the story of how I was able to use a simple Positive Energy Psychology (PEP) process to go from anxiety and emotional pain to a state of peaceful self-love and self-acceptance. Whenever you’re feeling a negative emotion, it’s generally a sign that you are not fully loving and accepting yourself in that moment. The next time you find yourself feeling bad about a situation in your life, particularly when you feel like you are judging or rejecting yourself for something, I really encourage you to give the following process a try. Just follow the simple steps I outline below to let those old conditioned patterns go and bring yourself back to loving and accepting yourself unconditionally no matter what. Using Positive Energy Psychology (PEP) to Let Go of Painful Feelings and Return to Peace and Well-Being

It has become more and more clear to me that the key to releasing anxiety, fear, or any other negative emotion we experience is this: to love and accept ourselves absolutely and completely no matter what. Total unconditional self-love and self-acceptance frees us from the underlying low level of anxiety and negative emotion that most people experience in their lives on a daily basis.
